Yeah you speak so soft, and I'm tryin' to understand you.

Teenage Cool Kids are another awesome band from Denton, TX. I bought their first release, a cassette, entitled "Things That I Can't Say" from them and immediately fell in love with their sound. This is what DIY sounds like. They record everything analog at home and have friends release their stuff. Not unlike most awesome DIY bands, their releases are rare and mostly on much sweeter formats like cassette and vinyl. Anyways, here's their most recent release, "Remember Me As A Silhouette." It's fun, sloppy, raw, emotional, silly, it will make you want to dance and make you want to lay around on a rainy day. You're in for a treat. Oh yeah, and with comparisons to Dinosaur Jr. and Superchunk, how can you lose?

Try it.
Buy it.
